Definition
There are different types of schizophrenia, including
- Paranoid schizophrenia
- Catatonic schizophrenia
- Disorganized or hebephrenic schizophrenia
- Residual schizophrenia
- Undifferentiated schizophrenia
What are the symptoms of schizophrenia?
- Delusions, hallucinations, disorganized thinking and/or speech
- Extremely disorganized or abnormal motor behavior
- Negative symptoms like lack of ability to function regularly such as lack of hygiene
- Loss of interest in daily activities
